Azerbaijan–Türkiye Brotherhood Cannot Be Disrupted, Says Binali Yıldırım

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States, reaffirmed the enduring brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, stating that no force can weaken the strong ties between the two nations.

Speaking during an iftar program with representatives of the tourism sector in Baku, Yıldırım emphasized that the relationship between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is built on deep historical, cultural, and strategic foundations that cannot be undermined.

“No matter what anyone does, the brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye can never be disrupted or harmed,” he said.

Yıldırım also welcomed the ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, expressing hope that regional tensions will give way to stability and cooperation.

“Our goal is to increase friendships and reduce hostilities. Even the worst peace is better than war,” he stressed.

He highlighted the importance of dialogue and cooperation in ensuring lasting peace and prosperity in the region, noting that strengthening regional partnerships would benefit all countries involved.
