Azerbaijan Welcomes US–Iran Ceasefire, Calls for Dialogue and Lasting Peace

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has welcomed the recently announced ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing hope that the development will pave the way for lasting peace and regional stability.
In an official statement, the ministry commended the efforts of all parties involved in mediating the agreement, describing the ceasefire as a positive step toward de-escalation of tensions in the region.
“We welcome the ceasefire announced between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. We highly appreciate the efforts of all parties that mediated the achievement of this ceasefire,” the statement read.
The ministry emphasized that the cessation of hostilities could play a significant role in reducing regional tensions and fostering a more stable environment.
Highlighting the importance of diplomacy, Azerbaijan urged both sides to engage in constructive dialogue aimed at resolving outstanding issues and building mutual trust.
