Azerbaijani and Uzbek Presidents Hold Talks in Tashkent to Advance Strategic Partnership

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a one-on-one meeting in Tashkent on November 15, underscoring the growing strength of bilateral relations grounded in alliance and strategic partnership.
During the meeting, both leaders praised the successful development of ties between their countries, noting that mutual trust and consistent high-level dialogue continue to drive cooperation forward. They highlighted the important role played by President Aliyev’s regular visits to Uzbekistan and President Mirziyoyev’s reciprocal visits to Azerbaijan in deepening political, economic and cultural engagement.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the recent expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Central Asian states. In this context, they emphasized the significance of President Aliyev’s participation in the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, describing it as a meaningful contribution to regional dialogue and integration.
The two presidents also exchanged views on the future prospects of bilateral relations, reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening partnership across key sectors.
