Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Iran Resumes Operations

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran has officially resumed its operations at a new address, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry announced on Monday. This development follows successful negotiations between the governments of Azerbaijan and Iran, as reported by media.
In accordance with its obligations under the “Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations,” Iran, as the host country, has implemented stringent security measures to safeguard the new embassy premises.
The new embassy is located in Tehran at Darrous, Shahrizad Avenue, Yarmohammadi Street, at the intersection of Saqi and Firuzkuh Streets, house number 8.
Efforts are currently underway to establish consular services at the new location, with further details on the restoration of these services to be provided soon.
The reopening of the embassy is expected to strengthen Azerbaijan-Iran relations, fostering further cooperation based on mutual respect and good neighborliness. It will also facilitate the implementation of agreements reached between the two nations and address pending issues.
This move marks a significant step in enhancing diplomatic ties and operational efficiency between Azerbaijan and Iran.
