Azerbaijan’s FM Condemns Islamabad Attack in Call With Pakistan’s Foreign Minister

Baku, The Gulf Observer: On February 7, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

During the call, Minister Bayramov strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack at a mosque in Islamabad and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families, as well as to the government and people of Pakistan. He reaffirmed that Azerbaijan stands firmly with Pakistan in its ongoing efforts to combat terrorism.

The discussion also covered various aspects of the partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, including matters related to the implementation of bilateral agreements. In addition, the two sides exchanged views on regional security issues of mutual concern.

The conversation highlighted the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan and their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and promoting peace and stability in the region.
