Babar Azam Nominated for ICC Men’s T20 Cricketer of the Year
Dubai, The Gulf Observer: Pakistan’s star batter, Babar Azam, has been nominated for the prestigious ICC Men’s T20 Cricketer of the Year award for 2024.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominations for this category, which also include India’s Arshdeep Singh, Zimbabwe’s all-rounder Sikandar Raza, and Australia’s Travis Head.
Performance Highlights
- Babar Azam: Scored an impressive 738 runs in 24 matches.
- Arshdeep Singh: Claimed 36 wickets in 18 matches.
- Sikandar Raza: Scored 573 runs and took 24 wickets in 24 matches.

The ICC Awards 2024 aim to honor the best performers across 12 categories, with nominations continuing until December 30. The winners will be announced by the end of January 2025.
