Baku, The Gulf Observer: The opening ceremony of the 3rd “Nine Senses Fest 2026” International Yoga Festival, dedicated to spiritual and physical practices, commenced in Baku, bringing together practitioners, experts, and enthusiasts from around the world for a celebration of mindfulness, well-being, and personal development.

Held under the motto “From Roots to Growth,” the festival reflects the journey toward conscious living, inner harmony, and personal growth. The event aims to promote holistic well-being by integrating physical, emotional, and spiritual practices in a collaborative and educational environment.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Natalya Zhukova, Academic Director of the Nine Senses Art Center, emphasized the importance of maintaining inner balance amid the fast pace of modern life. She highlighted the need to pay close attention to both physical and emotional well-being as essential components of a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.

The festival has attracted approximately 1,500 participants and 80 experts from various countries, underscoring its growing international profile. The three-day program features a diverse range of activities, including lectures, master classes, meditation and breathing exercises, educational sessions, creative meetings, and concert performances.

Events are being held across multiple venues in the Azerbaijani capital as well as at the Sea Breeze Resort, providing participants with opportunities to engage in learning, self-discovery, and cultural exchange.

The festival will continue until June 14 and is being organized with the support of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder of the Nine Senses Art Center, and President of the Azerbaijan Yoga Federation.

The event highlights Azerbaijan’s growing role as a platform for international wellness, cultural dialogue, and personal development initiatives, fostering greater awareness of practices that promote health, balance, and harmony in everyday life.
