Belarusian Ambassador Praises Strong Ties Between Tehran and Minsk

Shiraz, The Gulf Observer: Dmitry Koltsov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Iran, has commended the robust relations between Tehran and Minsk, emphasizing the mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During a meeting with Hossein-Ali Amiri, the Governor of Fars Province, Koltsov highlighted Belarus’s interest in expanding collaboration with Iran, particularly in the fields of sports, tourism, and education. He also discussed the potential export of electric buses to Shiraz and welcomed the presence of Iranian companies in Belarus, indicating opportunities for economic engagement.
Governor Amiri, in response, reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to enhancing regional cooperation. He underscored the importance of bolstering ties between Shiraz and Minsk and proposed the establishment of student exchange programs between universities in both cities to foster academic and cultural connections.
Additionally, Amiri expressed Shiraz’s readiness to export agricultural products to Belarus, further expanding the scope of economic cooperation between the two nations.
This meeting reflects the shared vision of Iran and Belarus to deepen their diplomatic and economic relations, fostering greater collaboration across various sectors.
