Berlin hosts Turkmen-German Business Forum

Berlin, The Gulf Observer: The Turkmen-German business forum was held on Monday at the Humboldt Carre Berlin Congress Centre in Berlin, Germany, the official media reports.

Batyr Atdaev, Deputy Prime Minister for Trade Complex and Textile Industry, along with representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, state institutions, entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan, and several companies including the Germany-Eastern Committee of the German Economy, Deutsche Bank AG, Commerzbank AG, Bank GPB International SA, AKA-Ausfuhrkreditgesellschaft GmbH, Akcenta de GmbH, Allianz SE, CLAAS Members of Global Sales GmbH, WILO SE, BMW, Daimler Truck AG, Siemens Healthcare GmbH, Bayer AG, ATLAS International GmbH, participated in the event, representing Turkmenistan.

According to the report, the Turkmen-German business forum was essential for strengthening relations between the two countries.

The organisers arranged several meetings with the heads of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy, world-famous German companies, and central banking and financial institutions within the framework of the business forum.

During the forum, the priorities of Turkmenistan’s foreign economic strategy were identified, including the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with leading financial and banking institutions of foreign countries, the study of best practices in introducing digital technologies, electronic banking and other priorities in this area.
