Tajikistan Envoy, Pakistan’s SCO Coordinator Discuss Strengthening Bilateral and Regional Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: A meeting was held on April 6, 2026, between the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan and Naeem Sabir Khan, National Coordinator of Pakistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), to discuss avenues for enhancing bilateral ties and regional collaboration.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed key aspects of Tajikistan–Pakistan relations and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation within the SCO framework. Discussions focused on expanding engagement across political, economic, and security domains, reflecting the shared commitment of both countries to regional stability and development.

The participants underscored the importance of aligning positions on regional and international issues, implementing joint initiatives, and making effective use of opportunities offered by the SCO platform to promote collective progress.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to maintain constructive dialogue and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, particularly within the SCO framework, aimed at fostering stronger regional connectivity and partnership.
