China’s Chief Justice Urges Nationwide Courts to Implement Judicial Reforms

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Zhang Jun, president of the Supreme People’s Court, has called on courts across China to rigorously implement the reform measures set forth at the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee. Zhang made these remarks on Wednesday at the opening session of a seminar for higher court judiciaries.
During the seminar, Zhang emphasized the importance of adhering to the judicial policies and injecting judicial momentum into China’s comprehensive reform efforts. He urged the judiciary to meticulously implement each reform measure, conduct in-depth investigations and research, and formulate detailed reform plans to ensure tangible outcomes.
“The judicial-related reform measures adopted at the plenum must be executed item by item,” Zhang stated, highlighting the need for concrete results in the judicial sector’s contribution to the country’s broader reform agenda.
The seminar underscored the necessity for courts at all levels to enhance their judicial policies and practices, aiming to support and propel China’s comprehensive reform drive.
