Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology, unveiled the comprehensive plans for the event. Dr. Al Shidhani emphasized the Ministry’s strategic objective to position the exhibition as a premier destination for technology investment and a pivotal platform for advancing the objectives of the National Programme for Digital Economy.
Furthermore, Dr. Al Shidhani underscored that COMEX 2024 will serve as a showcase for the remarkable progress achieved under the National Programme for Digital Economy, highlighting the nation’s strides in technological innovation and digital transformation.
Over 100 Omani startups boasting cutting-edge technology products, digital solutions, and services will actively participate in COMEX 2024, showcasing the nation’s entrepreneurial spirit and technological prowess.
The event enjoys robust support from key stakeholders including the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED), Omantel, ITHCA Group, the Central Bank of Oman (CBO), and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, as emphasized by Dr. Al Shidhani.
Moreover, the exhibition will feature the highly anticipated 2nd Digital Transformation Forum, providing a platform to illuminate best practices in digital transformation.
