Concert Held at Great Hall of the People to Mark 75th Anniversary of PRC Founding

Beijing, The Gulf Observer: A grand concert was held at the Great Hall of the People on Sunday night in celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The event was attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping, along with other Party and state leaders, including Premier Li Qiang, National People’s Congress Chairman Zhao Leji, Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Chairman Wang Huning, and senior officials Cai Qi, Ding Xuexiang, Li Xi, and Han Zheng. Retired senior leaders were also present at the event, which was attended by over 3,000 people.

The concert featured a diverse array of artistic performances, including orchestral music, choral performances, traditional instrumental ensembles, and a piano performance accompanied by a band. The evening culminated with the entire audience joining in to sing “Ode to the Motherland,” a patriotic anthem.

The celebration is part of the annual festivities leading up to China’s National Day, which is observed every year on October 1. This year marks a significant milestone as China commemorates the 75th anniversary of its founding in 1949.

The concert reflected the country’s cultural heritage and artistic achievements, underscoring national pride and unity as the PRC continues to look toward the future while celebrating its rich history.
