Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Singapore PM Hold Talks on Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, held official talks with Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of Singapore, at the Singapore Parliament House. Prime Minister Wong warmly welcomed His Highness, emphasizing the significance of this visit in reinforcing collaborative ties and fostering joint efforts across multiple domains between the UAE and Singapore.

The meeting centered on advancing strategic bilateral relations, with discussions exploring potential developments across various sectors aimed at promoting mutual interests and delivering benefits to the people of both nations. Both leaders highlighted the strong UAE-Singapore relationship, expressing a shared commitment to expanding collaboration in key areas.

Sheikh Khaled reaffirmed the importance of strengthening UAE-Singapore partnerships, underlining the shared visions that unify the two countries in fields such as economic and technological development. He emphasized the joint commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability, with a focus on advanced technology, clean energy, and urban planning to support sustainable development efforts in both countries.

His Highness also reiterated the UAE’s dedication to exploring new avenues for cooperation with Singapore, particularly in initiatives prioritizing innovation, sustainability, and the development of a knowledge-based economy. In a message written in the Parliament House guestbook, Sheikh Khaled expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with His Excellency Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, where we discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations. We look forward to deepening our collaboration and strategic partnerships across various vital sectors to meet the aspirations of our people.”

Among those attending the meeting were UAE officials, including Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; and other senior representatives. Several senior officials from the government of Singapore were also present.
