Cruise Ship ‘Amira’ arrives at Salalah Port
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The cruise ship ‘Amira’ has arrived in Salalah Port, Dhofar Governorate with more than 650 tourists on board on Tuesday.
According to the Oman News Agency the Port of Salalah received today the cruise ship “Amira” with 1,082 passengers, including 696 tourists, as part of its tourism programme in a number of ports in the world.
The programme for the passengers of the cruise ship coming from the port of Hurghada in Egypt and heading to the Sultan Qaboos Port in Muscat Governorate included tours that included the most important archaeological, tourist and historical monuments that the Governorate of Dhofar is famous for, in addition to visiting the beaches and traditional markets in the city of Salalah.
The Sultanate of Oman annually witnesses many cruise ships due to its distinguished marine location overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Sea of Oman.
