Denmark’s Ambassador-Designate Meets Turkmenistan Envoy in Islamabad to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Denmark to Pakistan, Mrs. Maja Mortensen, visited the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, where she met with Ambassador of Turkmenistan, A. Movlamov.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the current situation in the region, with a focus on issues of peace, stability, and sustainable development.
Ambassador Movlamov highlighted neutral Turkmenistan’s peaceful foreign policy, which seeks to foster trust among states, strengthen good-neighborly relations, and create favorable conditions for mutually beneficial cooperation. He also underscored the significance of Turkmenistan’s ongoing regional energy and infrastructure projects, noting their role in enhancing connectivity and promoting economic integration across the region.
Concluding the meeting, Ambassador Movlamov wished Mrs. Maja Mortensen success in her diplomatic mission in Pakistan and expressed confidence that her efforts would further strengthen mutual understanding and friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Denmark.
