Egypt observes Armed Forces Day

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The sacrifices and heroisms demonstrated by the heroes of the Egyptian armed forces to achieve the great victory will remain immortal in the conscience of every countryman.
This was stated by the Egypt Defence Attaché to Pakistan Colonel Mahmoud Hussan while addressing a ceremony held at a local hotel in Islamabad on the occasion of 49th anniversary of Great October War Victory (Egypt Armed Forces Day).
He added that the memory of the glorious October victory always brings to the minds of the Egyptian people the magnitude of the challenges, they were able to overcome to reach the present in which Egypt was writing a great success story that began years ago. Egypt achieved with strength and determination ambitious plans for construction and development despite the growing internal and external challenges, he went on to say.
He further said that Egypt always sought peace and extended a hand of cooperation for construction and development and was making all out efforts and offering precious sacrifices to preserve the security of the motherland.
He went on to say that Egypt and Pakistan have always supported each other in all sincerity in many difficult times and that the armed forces of the two countries faced the same challenges. He said that the military leadership of the two brotherly countries has set the goal of enriching this relationship to overcoming these challenges.
Colonel Mahmoud Hussan offered his sincere condolences to the Pakistani armed forces and the people over the losses of the recent massive floods by praying for the dead and patience for the families.
He concluded his speech by wishing more prospects for cooperation between the two sides by expressing gratitude to the leadership of the Pakistani armed forces for their keenness to build trust. between the two sides.
He also conveyed the greetings of the Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production.
The ceremony was graced by His Excellency Dr. Tarek Dahroug, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Air Marshal Irfan Ahmed, Deputy Chief of Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force, Ambassadors and Defense Attaches of friendly countries alongwith other distinguished guests from different walks of life.
