Minsk, The Gulf Observer: The Embassy of Pakistan in Minsk participated at the International Fair “ProdExpo 2024”. The event, attended by over 150 guests, featured “Tastes of Pakistan” presenting the diverse flavors of traditional Pakistani cuisine.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus Sajjad Haider Khan, emphasized the importance of food diplomacy.

The program also featured a documentary movies on Pakistan and Pakistani cuisine, a master class on preparation of gullab jamun and a detailed presentation on Pakistan’s cuisine covering various aspects of Pakistan’s rich culinary heritage. The visitors had a chance to discover the wide array of flavors and unique cooking techniques that contribute to the popularity and variety of Pakistani cuisine.

The festival also featured the performances by talented Belarusian singer Tatiana Kremis, who sang an Urdu song and Alina Khan, who captivated the audience with a traditional Pakistani dance, enhancing the overall sensory experience.

As the grand finale, guests were treated to a sumptuous feast featuring favourite dishes from Pakistan which included aromatic Chicken Biryani, Samosa, Carrot Halwa and Gulab Jamun and Jilaibi, offering a delightful journey through the distinctive flavors that make Pakistani cuisine truly unique.
