Federal Minister Aurangzeb Khan Khichi Visits National Library of Pakistan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, accompanied by Secretary NH&C Division, Mr. Asad Rehman Gilani, visited the National Library of Pakistan (NLP) to review ongoing developments and explore ways to enhance its role as a public-oriented knowledge hub.
During the visit, Raja Javed Iqbal, Director General of NLP, presented a comprehensive briefing on the library’s ongoing initiatives, with a special emphasis on transforming it into an inclusive, innovative, and accessible learning space for all citizens.
The Federal Minister toured various sections of the library, interacted with staff, and lauded the efforts being made to modernize services and infrastructure. He reaffirmed his unwavering support for upcoming projects aimed at promoting literacy, research, and cultural enrichment through the National Library.
The visit underlined the government’s commitment to revitalizing national institutions of heritage and culture, and ensuring they serve as vibrant platforms for education, creativity, and community engagement.
