First Round of Political Consultations Between Oman and Nepal
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Nepal held the inaugural round of political consultations at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat today.
The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Nepalese delegation was chaired by Seva Lamsal, Foreign Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the consultations, both sides reviewed the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and affirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation across various fields. The discussions also covered a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The session was attended by Dornath Aryal, Ambassador of the Republic of Nepal to the Sultanate of Oman, and Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Balushi, Acting Deputy Head of the Asia and Pacific Department.
