Huawei role in strengthening ICT infrastructure in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The briefing at the Huawei Office in Uzbekistan was dedicated to the results of the company’s activity for 2022 and the results of its activities in the first half of 2023.
Director of Huawei in Uzbekistan Chen Jiakai congratulated the event participants on June 27 – the Press and Media Workers’ Day and noted that friendly relations between the two countries are important in strengthening cooperation in many areas.
The company implements several projects with local partners and presents its capabilities in further strengthening the ICT infrastructure in Uzbekistan, introducing renewable energy sources.
“As part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On approval of the Strategy “Digital Uzbekistan-2030” and measures for its effective implementation” of October 5, 2020, Huawei is participating in several projects together with local partners”, says Chen Jiakai. – On the eve of the SCO Summit in Samarkand, a single data storage and processing center was launched, which created the basis for further improvement of e-government based on cloud technologies and the launch of a 5G network. Our company regularly cooperates with local telecom operators, presenting innovative solutions and sharing experiences.
The participants also summarized the results of the company’s participation in implementing the Green Aral Sea initiative and the One Million Trees campaign in Uzbekistan.
