Ilham Aliyev Sends Congratulatory Message to Malaysian King on Independence Day
Baku, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has sent a congratulatory letter to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, on the occasion of Malaysia’s Independence Day, as reported by NHC.
In his message, President Aliyev expressed his warmest congratulations to the Malaysian King and extended his felicitations to the people of Malaysia on this significant national holiday.
“On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I am pleased to congratulate you and, through you, all your people on the occasion of Malaysia’s national holiday – Independence Day,” President Aliyev wrote.
He emphasized the importance Azerbaijan places on the development and strengthening of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two nations. President Aliyev expressed his confidence in the continuation of joint efforts to further develop these ties in alignment with the mutual interests of both countries.
“I believe that we will continue to make joint efforts to successfully maintain and further develop our interstate relations and cooperation in accordance with the interests of our peoples,” President Aliyev stated.
He also highlighted the upcoming COP29 conference, scheduled to be held in Baku in November, expressing hope for close cooperation with Malaysia in the global fight against climate change.
“On this special day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and lasting prosperity to the friendly people of Malaysia,” President Aliyev concluded.
