Indonesia ready for 2022 World Junior Wushu Championships

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: The Indonesian Wushu Association (PBWI) has selected 23 athletes to represent the country in the VIII/2022 World Junior Wushu Championships (WJWC) to be held in Tangerang District, Banten Province, on December 5-11, 2022.

First Deputy Chairperson for Sports Achievement of PBWI Iwan Kwok said in a statement on Sunday that the members of the Indonesian Junior Wushu National Team had been chosen from 49 participants of the national selection program.

Those 23 athletes picked by the PBWI’s national selection team were considered to have high opportunity to bag medals.

The junior national team consists of six male athletes and six female athletes of taolu or individual routine event.
