Iran and Russia Strengthen Aviation Cooperation with New Export Agreement

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: In a significant move to enhance bilateral aviation collaboration, President of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, Hossein Pourfarzaneh, and Head of the Federal Agency for Air Transport of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Yadrov, have reached an agreement to expand Iran’s aviation industry exports to Russia.

The Iranian delegation’s visit focused on strengthening aviation cooperation, signing a bilateral agreement on aviation standards and flight qualification, and advancing the Iran-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.

By mutually accepting aviation standards, both nations will facilitate Iran’s increased provision of technical and engineering services to Russia, marking a key step in deepening their aviation sector ties.
