Iran Condemns Zionist Regime's Terrorist Attack on Beirut Residential Building

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack by the Zionist regime on a residential building in Beirut. The attack, which occurred in a densely populated area of the city on Friday, resulted in numerous casualties, including the martyrdom and injury of many civilians, among them women and children.

Kanaani denounced the Zionist regime’s “brutal and malicious aerial assault,” stating that the attack is a blatant violation of international law, as well as Lebanon’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security. He called on the international community to condemn this act in the strongest terms.

“The Zionist regime’s actions, shortly after its brutal and terrorist assault against the Lebanese people through the misuse of communication networks, demonstrate its flagrant disregard for international norms,” Kanaani added. He emphasized that the regime’s escalation of violence contradicts global calls for a ceasefire and represents a clear threat to international peace and security.

Kanaani reiterated Iran’s unwavering support for the people, government, and resistance of Lebanon. He stressed that despite the Zionist regime’s barbaric attacks, Lebanon remains steadfast in its honorable support for the oppressed people of Palestine.
