Iran Issues Strong Warning Against Third-Party Intervention Amid Escalating Israeli Aggression

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iran’s Supreme National Security Council issued a firm warning on Thursday, declaring that any third-party intervention in response to Israel’s ongoing military aggression against Iranian territory will be met with an immediate and decisive response.
In a strongly worded statement, the Council—one of Iran’s highest decision-making bodies—emphasized that the Islamic Republic has a clearly defined response strategy in place and is prepared to act swiftly and proportionately to any external escalation.
“If any third party intervenes in this aggression, Iran will confront it immediately according to a predetermined plan,” the statement read, underscoring Tehran’s resolve to defend its sovereignty.
The warning comes in the wake of a deadly Israeli strike last Friday, described by Iranian authorities as unprovoked and coordinated with Western powers—particularly the United States. The attack reportedly resulted in the deaths of over 300 Iranian nationals, including high-ranking military figures such as Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander Hossein Salami, Chief-of-Staff Mohammad Bagheri, and nuclear scientists Fereydoon Abbasi and Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi. More than 1,000 civilians were also injured.
Iranian officials have accused Washington of direct complicity in the Israeli assault, citing statements and military movements from U.S. officials as evidence of deliberate coordination. Despite these accusations, former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the United States “may directly enter the war,” raising further regional and international concerns about potential escalation.
In response, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei affirmed the country’s firm position, stating that Iran will resist both “imposed peace” and “imposed war.” He warned that any direct intervention by the United States would bring “irreparable harm” to American interests.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps has intensified its retaliatory campaign. On Thursday, the IRGC launched the fifteenth wave of Operation True Promise III, striking multiple Israeli military and industrial installations in the occupied territories.
The situation remains highly volatile, with growing fears that the conflict could spiral into a broader regional war if diplomatic efforts to de-escalate fail. Iran continues to maintain that it is acting in self-defense and will not tolerate further provocations against its territorial integrity.
