Iran Showcases 400 Titles at 37th Moscow International Book Fair
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iran is participating in the 37th Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF) with a collection of 400 titles and 64 publications, according to Iran’s cultural attaché to Russia, Masoud Ahmadvand.
Ahmadvand highlighted the Iran pavilion’s diverse offerings at the fair, which runs from September 4 to 8 in the Russian capital. The pavilion is showcasing 70 book titles that have been translated from Persian to Russian, covering key topics such as Persian language instruction, Islamology, Iranology, Resistance literature, and Iranian literature.
Ahmadvand noted that works about the Leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, leaders of the resistance, and contemporary Iranian figures have drawn significant interest from the Russian audience.
The 37th MIBF features over 300 publishing houses from Russia and countries including Iran, Germany, China, Azerbaijan, and Belarus. The five-day event includes a variety of activities such as book presentations, author meet-and-greets, lectures, discussions, and master classes.
As Russia’s most important international book event, the Moscow International Book Fair remains a key annual gathering for the global and Russian book industries.
