Iranian Para-Karate Team Clinches Championship Title at 4th Asian Para Championship 2025

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: The Iranian national Para-Karate team has emerged as the overall champion at the 4th Asian Para Championship 2025, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

During the competition held on Saturday, the Iranian team secured an impressive medal haul, claiming 2 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals.

Gold medals were won by Masoumeh Iji and Farzad Safari, while silver medals went to Negar Farahani, Leila Chalian, and Hafez Hafezikia. Mohammad Jafari Fahim and Rahim Golmohammadi earned bronze medals, rounding out a strong performance by the national team.

Kazakhstan finished in second place overall, collecting 2 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze medals. Saudi Arabia followed in third, with 1 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals.

The 4th edition of the Asian Para Championship runs from May 23 to May 25, bringing together para-athletes from across the continent to compete in a variety of disciplines.
