Karaj, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian asserted on Thursday that no foreign power can halt Iran’s progress, firmly rejecting claims from the United States, Israel, and European countries that Iran has been weakened.

“Israel, Europe, and the U.S. assume that Iran has been weakened. They assume that they can cause quarrels and disputes in the country. No power, through its conspiracies, can stop the Iranian people from moving forward and progressing,” the president stated during a meeting with local officials in Karaj, the capital of Alborz Province.

President Pezeshkian visited Alborz as part of his provincial outreach program, aimed at addressing regional challenges and promoting inclusive development.

During the session, he emphasized public participation as essential to overcoming economic and production disparities, stating that collaboration from the people is key to achieving meaningful progress.

He also addressed the need to reform the country’s education system, calling for the construction and proper equipping of schools across underserved cities and villages. “Quality education is a right for every child, and we will achieve this with the support of the people,” he added.

Pezeshkian further criticized the current subsidy system, saying it disproportionately benefits wealthier citizens. He announced plans for fairer subsidy distribution, ensuring that financial support reaches the underprivileged directly.

The president praised the Iranian people’s resilience and ongoing contributions to national development, urging greater unity and cooperation to drive production, strengthen economic self-reliance, and confront external pressures.
