Iranian University Students Rally in Solidarity with Gaza, Condemn Israeli Actions

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Students, professors, and university staff from the provinces of Ardabil and South Khorasan held protest rallies on Monday to denounce the ongoing violence in Gaza and condemn what they described as crimes committed by the Israeli regime.
At the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Hojjatoleslam Abdollah Hassani, the representative of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, addressed the gathering, expressing strong solidarity with the Palestinian people and the broader resistance front.
“Today marks the exposure of the Israeli regime’s oppression, and the divine promise about the destruction of this regime will be fulfilled,” Hojjatoleslam Hassani told demonstrators, calling the event a moment to defend the oppressed.
Simultaneously, students at the University of Birjand assembled near the Imam Jafar Sadiq Mosque and the Tomb of the Unknown Martyrs, chanting pro-Palestinian slogans including “Death to Israel.” Participants demanded an immediate end to Israeli military operations in Gaza.
Both rallies concluded with the public reading of statements condemning Israel’s military actions and reaffirming unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the resistance movement.
These demonstrations are part of a wider wave of student-led protests sweeping across Iranian universities, underscoring growing public anger over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Institutions nationwide continue to voice solidarity with Palestinians, calling for international accountability and justice.
