Kazakh President Congratulates Kyrgyzstan on Independence Day

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has extended warm congratulations, both personally and on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan, to President Sadyr Zhaparov and the brotherly nation of Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day, according to media reports.

In his congratulatory message, President Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan attaches particular importance to strengthening and further deepening the multifaceted strategic partnership and alliance with Kyrgyzstan. He expressed confidence that through joint efforts, the two countries will continue to achieve new milestones in their interstate relations, which are firmly rooted in centuries-old friendship, good-neighborliness, and mutual support.

Earlier, it was reported that President Tokayev also held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Tianjin.
