Kazakh, Russian Ministers Discuss Expansion of Industrial Cooperation in Moscow

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: As part of his working visit to Moscow, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Industry and Construction Yersaiyn Nagaspayev met with Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov to discuss the expansion of bilateral industrial and economic cooperation, the Kazakh Ministry reported.

According to the Ministry’s statement, the talks focused on strengthening trade and industrial ties between the two countries, with particular attention to advancing joint projects and enhancing industrial interaction across key sectors.

Special emphasis was placed on the implementation of major industrial projects in the automotive industry, railway engineering, metallurgy, chemical production, and building materials manufacturing.

The Ministry noted that Kazakhstan and Russia are currently implementing 175 joint industrial projects worth a total of US$56.6 billion, expected to create up to 64,000 new jobs.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continue strengthening the industrial partnership, developing resilient supply chains, and creating new opportunities for businesses in both countries.
