Kazakhstan

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Kazakhstan recorded its strongest monthly performance in vehicle and equipment manufacturing last year, with production volumes rising sharply, according to data released by the Bureau of National Statistics.

In a statement, the Ministry of Industry and Construction said the country produced 22,580 units of vehicles and equipment worth a total of 311.1 billion tenge, marking the highest monthly output recorded during the year. Compared with November 2024, production volumes increased by 25.5 percent.

The passenger car segment emerged as the primary driver of growth. Within a single month, Kazakh manufacturers produced 20,730 passenger cars, alongside 807 trucks, 646 buses, 310 trailers and semi-trailers, and 87 units of special-purpose equipment. The ministry attributed these results to the active expansion of production capacities across the sector.

Over the first 11 months of 2025, total vehicle and equipment output reached 146,163 units, with a combined value of 2.03 trillion tenge. This represents a 15.7 percent increase compared with the same period of the previous year.

The ministry noted that the automotive industry now accounts for 41.7 percent of Kazakhstan’s overall machine-building sector, underscoring its position as one of the most dynamically developing branches of the national economy.
