Kazakhstan to establish Kazakh Research Institute of Caspian Sea
Astana, The Gulf Observer: Kazakhstan is set to establish a national research institute to study the Caspian Sea, according to media reports.
The corresponding government decree has been drafted.
As per the document, Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company “Kazakh Research Institute of Caspian Sea” with 100% participation of the state in its charter capital is set to be established.
In its activity the institute will focus on monitoring environmental conditions and carrying out research in Kazakhstan’s section of the Caspian Sea.
Its charter capital will amount to 300 000 000 tenge.
