King Abdullah II of Jordan to Pay State Visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will undertake a state visit to Uzbekistan on August 25–26.
The main events of the visit are scheduled to be held in the historic city of Samarkand. The summit agenda will cover a wide range of issues, including the development of political dialogue, trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as the establishment of partnerships in key sectors such as chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, textile, and mining industries. The two sides will also discuss expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
In addition, the leaders are expected to exchange views on pressing issues of international and regional policy.
The visit is set to conclude with the signing of a package of bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Jordan.
