King Salman Leads Jeddah Cabinet Session on Sudan Aid and Global Health Initiatives

Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud presided over the Council of Ministers’ session on Tuesday in Jeddah, where key diplomatic and economic issues were discussed. The Council reviewed Saudi Arabia’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to support Sudan, which include delivering humanitarian aid and working to halt hostilities, in accordance with the outcomes of previous Jeddah talks and international humanitarian law. The Council also discussed the Kingdom’s collaboration with international organizations to further these initiatives.

The Ministers commended the results of the first strategic dialogue between Saudi Arabia and the World Health Organization (WHO), underscoring the importance of continued bilateral coordination, joint initiatives, and support for global health efforts. The dialogue marks a significant step in strengthening the partnership between the Kingdom and WHO, particularly in addressing global health challenges.

Additionally, the Cabinet noted the stability of Saudi Arabia’s inflation rate at 1.5% in July, highlighting it as a testament to the resilience of the Saudi economy and the effectiveness of proactive measures taken to manage global price increases. This economic stability is seen as a reflection of the Kingdom’s strong fiscal policies and its ability to navigate global economic fluctuations.
