Lukashenko Visits Sohar Port to Explore Key Industrial Projects
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Excellency Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, visited Sohar Port in North Al Batinah Governorate as part of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
A statement issued online by the Oman News Agency (ONA) confirmed the visit, stating: “His Excellency the President of the Republic of Belarus visits Sohar Port and is briefed on the projects and facilities it includes, especially refineries and petroleum industries, as part of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.”
During the visit, President Lukashenko was provided with an overview of Sohar Port’s strategic role in regional trade and its advanced infrastructure, particularly its refineries and petroleum industry facilities. The port serves as a key hub for industrial and economic activities, supporting Oman’s vision for sustainable growth and economic diversification.
The visit highlights the growing bilateral relations between Oman and Belarus, focusing on strengthening economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
