Mirziyoyev receives the Speaker of Kyrgyzstan Parliament
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Today on September 26, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev.
Current issues of further strengthening friendship, good neighborliness, and comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan were discussed.
The Speaker of the Kyrgyzstan Parliament conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the President of Uzbekistan from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.
During the conversation, the current high level and fruitful nature of bilateral collaboration was noted with particular satisfaction. In particular, active contacts and exchanges are being carried out at different levels, trade turnover and cargo transportation are growing, and cooperation projects are being implemented, including attracting investments from a joint fund.
The special role of developing close inter-parliamentary ties in enhancing multifaceted relations, implementing agreements at the highest level and promoting promising projects, establishing practical cooperation at the regional and business levels, and conducting cultural and humanitarian events in the two countries was emphasized.
The importance of strengthening interaction and coordination within specialized international organizations was also noted.
