Hobart, The Gulf Observer: Star Pakistani squash player Nasir Iqbal continued his outstanding performance by securing another trophy on Sunday, winning the Tasmanian Open Squash Championship. Iqbal triumphed over Switzerland’s David Barnett with a 3-1 victory, scoring 11-8, 12-10, 6-11, and 11-5 in the final match.

This latest victory marks Iqbal’s third title in Australia this year, having previously claimed trophies at the Bendigo International and Shepparton Open. He also reached the semi-finals of the Victoria Open, underscoring his remarkable consistency and dominance in the sport.

In the semi-final of the Tasmanian Championship, Iqbal delivered an impressive performance against France’s Melvil Ciani-Menko, winning 3-0 with scores of 4-11, 5-11, and 5-11.

These recent accomplishments follow Iqbal’s notable performance in the CNS Squash Championship final held in Karachi earlier this year, further solidifying his status as a leading figure in the world of squash.
