NATO Expresses Strong Support for Armenia-Azerbaijan Relations Normalization
Brussels, The Gulf Observer: Javier Colomina, Deputy Assistant Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance for Political Affairs and Security Policy, and Special Representative of the Secretary General for the Caucasus and Central Asia, affirmed NATO’s resolute support for efforts to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“Very important indeed to see Armenia and Azerbaijan meeting again at the highest level and agreeing on the need to continue the talks towards a long-lasting peace treaty. NATO strongly supports the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” stated Colomina.
The Deputy Assistant Secretary General highlighted the significance of Armenia and Azerbaijan engaging in discussions at the highest level, emphasizing their mutual agreement on the imperative to pursue dialogues leading to a comprehensive and enduring peace treaty.
