Official reserves of Uzbekistan exceeds US$35.765 billion

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: On 1 January 2023, Uzbekistan’s official reserves exceeded US$35.765 billion, according to the data of the Central Bank.

According to the regulator, this figure increased by US$2.32 billion compared to last month.The regulator notes that foreign currency reserves as of 1 January amounted to US$11.64 billion.

Foreign currency reserves increased by US$1.71 billion.The volume of gold rose by US$600.8 million to US$23.06 billion in the reporting period. Gold in fine troy ounces remained at 12.7 million troy ounces (12.8 million troy ounces last month).
