Oman and Bulgaria Hold Official Talks to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Sofia, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Bulgaria held a round of official talks today in Sofia, aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and exploring new avenues of cooperation across multiple sectors.

The Omani delegation was led by H.E. Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, while the Bulgarian side was headed by H.E. Rosen Dimitrov Zhelyazkov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The discussions focused on strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, with an emphasis on fostering partnerships in the economic, cultural, and scientific fields. Both parties expressed their commitment to promoting joint interests and maximizing mutual benefits.

The session also included an exchange of views on regional and international developments of mutual concern. The two sides reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing diplomatic coordination, holding regular political consultations, and facilitating reciprocal visits between high-level officials and experts.

Both nations underscored their shared values in supporting global efforts to promote peace, security, justice, and peaceful coexistence among nations, in line with their common foreign policy objectives.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Yousef Ahmed Al Jabri, Non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Bulgaria; Munthir Mahfoudh Al Mandheri, Head of the Europe Department at the Omani Foreign Ministry; and senior officials from both sides.

The talks marked a significant step in advancing the strategic partnership between Oman and Bulgaria, laying the foundation for deeper cooperation and broader diplomatic engagement in the years ahead.
