Oman celebrates World Customs Day
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Royal Oman Police held a celebration on the occasion of World Customs Day, which falls on January 26 of each year.
In his speech on the occasion of the celebration, Brigadier Dr. Saeed bin Khamis Al Ghaithi, Director General of Customs, said: “Oman Customs is working with confidence towards digital transformation and improving the customs work system through qualified cadres and advanced technologies.”
During this golden phase of its history, the Royal Oman Police, represented by the General Administration of Customs, is witnessing a quantum leap in facilitating customs procedures and operations and raising the level of technological services provided to the commercial community, through improving the work system and transforming procedures into an integrated digital system, which effectively contributed to facilitating the movement of trade exchange. between the Sultanate of Oman and the countries of the world.
It is noteworthy that the General Administration of Customs has issued the fifth issue of Oman Customs Magazine, a magazine that is published annually and deals with customs work and related aspects of trade facilitation, logistics and investment attraction.
