Oman Engages in Arab Economic Cooperation Forum with Central Asian Nations
Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman engaged in the proceedings of the 3rd edition of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with Countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, convened in Doha, Qatar.
Representing Oman at the forum were Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, and Dr. Saleh Said Masn, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry.
The primary objectives of the forum encompassed advancing political coordination and consultation among Arab nations and their counterparts in Central Asia and Azerbaijan. Additionally, the forum sought to enhance collaboration across economic, cultural, and social domains while fostering partnerships and initiatives between the participating entities.
Oman’s delegation, led by distinguished representatives including Abdullah Nasser Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Sayyid Ammar Abdullah Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar, comprised officials from the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion.
The Sultanate’s participation underscores its commitment to regional cooperation and economic diplomacy, affirming its proactive role in fostering mutually beneficial relationships with nations across diverse regions.
