Oman, Italy Foreign Ministers Review Bilateral Cooperation, Regional Developments

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi on Friday held a telephone conversation with Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy, to discuss ways to strengthen joint action between the two friendly countries.
During the call, the two sides reviewed the outcomes of the recent visit to the Sultanate of Oman by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, underscoring its significance in advancing bilateral relations.
The ministers agreed on the importance of building on the visit’s results and further enhancing cooperation across areas of mutual interest. They also concurred on following an executive action plan aimed at supporting a deeper partnership and advancing shared objectives.
In addition, the two officials exchanged views on regional developments, stressing the need to support diplomatic efforts and constructive dialogue. They emphasized working together to reduce escalation and to promote regional security and stability.
