Oman Participates in Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024

Dubai, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Social Development, actively participated in the Global Women’s Forum Dubai 2024, hosted in the United Arab Emirates. The forum brought together leaders and experts to deliberate on pivotal issues related to women’s roles and sustainable development.

Dr. Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, Oman’s Minister of Social Development, contributed to a high-level discussion panel themed “The Future of Social Development: Regional Cooperation and Integration.” The session addressed regional challenges and opportunities to enhance sustainable social development, focusing on social empowerment and inclusiveness as key elements for advancing collective progress.

Additionally, Nahla Abdulwahab Al Hamadi, a Member of Oman’s State Council, participated in a panel discussion titled “Women in Parliament: Exceptional Abilities.” The session spotlighted the significant contributions of women in legislative roles and their capacity to drive positive change in governance.

The forum provided a platform for the Sultanate to share its insights and experiences while reinforcing its commitment to fostering regional collaboration in social and economic development.
