Oman sends humanitarian supplies to cyclone-hit Yemen

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Oman is providing necessary humanitarian supplies and relief to Yemen, which was ravaged by Cyclone Tej last month.

In a statement, Oman Charitable Organization (OCO) said that the local authorities in Al Mahra Governorate in Yemen received its convoy of about 20 trucks carrying aid and food supplies for those affected by the tropical cyclone, which affected the districts of Huswain and Al Ghaydah.

OCO stated that it is continuing to transport items of essential need within the framework of its relief programme to Yemen.
