Oman Supports Egypt and Condemns Israeli Statements on Gaza’s Philadelphi Corridor

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman has formally expressed its solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt in rejecting and condemning recent statements made by the Israeli government concerning the Philadelphi Corridor in the Gaza Strip. In an official statement released by the Oman News Agency (ONA), Oman emphasized its unwavering support for Egypt’s stance, warning of the potentially provocative consequences of Israel’s remarks.

The statement highlighted Oman’s concern that these statements could undermine ongoing mediation efforts led by Egypt, along with the State of Qatar and the United States, to achieve a permanent ceasefire in the region.
