Oman to observe Armed Forces Day tomorrow
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman observes the Armed Forces Day anniversary on 11 December every year.
This historic occasion epitomises the national accomplishments made by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) in the various spheres of training, operations and armament, under the Royal Care and attention of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.
The armed forces continue with their sacred national roles and duties under His Majesty’s wise leadership for the security and stability of the Sultanate of Oman in consistent with the development plans under the Oman Vision 2040.
SAF has witnessed several features of development and modernisation since the dawn of the blessed renaissance, the pillars of which were set by late Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimour.
The SAF, reiterates its firm resolve to uphold its sacred duty of protecting the gains and sanctities of the nation and to continue offering the support to the country’s development plans and efficiently contribute along with the other government institutions under the various conditions.
On this glorious occasion, the SAF organises various activities at its various formations and units in memory of this glorious anniversary.
