Pakistan and Bulgaria Mark 60 Years of Diplomatic Ties, Pledge to Strengthen Cooperation

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Bulgarian Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Irena Gancheva, met with Ms. Zeb Jaffar, Convener of the Pakistan-Bulgaria Friendship Group in the National Assembly of Pakistan, to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation and parliamentary engagement.

The meeting came as Pakistan and Bulgaria celebrate the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic relations in 2025. Discussions focused on expanding collaboration in diverse areas including people-to-people contacts, cultural exchange, education, science, and trade.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing ties based on mutual respect, shared priorities, and a strong spirit of friendship.
